About The Brenda M. Robinson Center
The Brenda M. Robinson Center is here for you! Let us help you prepare for life's challenges!
The Brenda Robinson Center is a Massillon, Ohio–based nonprofit organization established in 2005 and dedicated to strengthening the Stark County community through education, cultural enrichment, and social and community development.
Serving individuals from high school students to seniors, the Center offers a continuum of support designed to meet the evolving needs of the community across the lifespan. Through a combination of structured classes and personalized one-on-one coaching, we provide accessible, high-quality programming that empowers individuals to build practical skills, expand knowledge, and enhance overall well-being.
Our work is grounded in a commitment to inclusivity, cultural awareness, and community connection. By meeting individuals where they are, we create opportunities for personal growth, increased self-sufficiency, and meaningful engagement. The Center serves as a trusted resource for individuals, families, and organizations seeking to learn, grow, and contribute to a stronger, more vibrant Stark County community.

ABOUT US
BRENDA MCDEW ROBINSON
Ms. Rob (as her students affectionately refer to her) Brenda McDew Robinson (1942-2002) graduated from Washington High School in 1960. She received her Bachelor of Education degree from West Virginia State University and completed graduate studies at Kent State University. She was a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She was a dedicated biology teacher for 33 years at Massillon's Washington High School, including 30 years as advisor for the WHS S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Club (Student Unrest Committee Concerning Every Student's Success).
Her other affiliations included the National Education Association, Ohio Education Association, East Central Ohio Education Association, Massillon Education Association, the Doris C. Allen Minority Caucus, and the Ohio Science Teachers Association. She was a member of the N.A.A.C.P., Massillon Neighborhood Housing Board of Directors and formerly sat on the Board of the Massillon Urban League, and was a proud member of St. James A.M.E. Zion Church. Brenda served as a Director of the Begin-A-New Tutorial program.
Sadly passed away at the age of 60 in 2002. Her legacy continues in the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Club and Alumni groups.
